Tonight, nobody better stand between me and my Fran McCaffery bobblehead! You can find me this evening at the Hawkeye men’s basketball game, hopefully among the first 3,000 fans at Carver-Hawkeye Arena who snag this humorous Hawkeye collectible.
Students in the Hawks Nest already have giant cardboard cutouts of Fran’s head that float around the crowd at games. Wouldn’t it be great to also see 3,000 Fran bobbleheads nodding in approval at every Iowa three-pointer?
Of course, Fran the bobblehead would be lonely if he had to sit on a shelf by himself. With any luck, I’ll be able to add Lisa Bluder (tomorrow), Kachine Alexander (January 8), Jarryd Cole (January 12), and Kelsey Cermak (February 10) to my collection to keep him company.
