Don Gets His Due

Former Hawkeye Don Nelson was announced as a member of the 2012 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class today. He was voted the team MVP for three consecutive years (1960-62) at Iowa and went on to play and coach in the NBA, ending his career at the league’s winningest coach, with 1,335 victories.
