Desperately Seeking Herky

In 2004, a plethora of individually-decorated Herky statues were placed around the Iowa City area as part of the “Herky on Parade” public art project, celebrating the 75th anniversary of Kinnick Stadium and Hawkeye pride. UI Opera Hits the Road

Fresh from a stint at the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts, the UI is taking its production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s opera H.M.S. Pinafore to Des Moines this weekend for two performances.
