In honor of former Hawkeye football player Brett Greenwood, this Saturday is “Wear Green for Greenwood Day” when Iowa faces Central Michigan University. Whether you’re heading to Kinnick Stadium or plan to watch the game with friends downtown or at home, consider wearing green to support Greenwood’s recovery from a devastating brain injury. Last September, Brett collapsed during a workout and his heart stopped beating. Since that time, he’s been working hard in rehabilitation—learning to speak, walk, and regain critical functions damaged by the neurological trauma he suffered.
