The Big Event may be three months away, but S.T.A.T. (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) has already begun helping Dance Marathon raise support for the UI Children’s Hospital. For every dancer who joins S.T.A.T. during the month of November, the UI Alumni Association will donate $5 to Dance Marathon. S.T.A.T. members who help raise $500 for Dance Marathon will also receive a special gift at the Big Event.
To join S.T.A.T., visit www.iowalum.com/stat, and be sure to check the Dance Marathon box under the student membership category. Students can also join and pick up their membership materials from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, in front of the University Book Store at the Old Capitol Mall.
