Welcome Home, Hawkeyes!

For more than 100 years, we’ve been welcoming alumni back to Iowa City for Homecoming.

From the annual parade that winds through downtown, to the corn monument constructed by engineering students on the Pentacrest, to the big game itself at Kinnick Stadium, Homecoming has been a fall tradition at the University of Iowa since 1912.

UI celebrates ‘inspiring’ year for flood recovery

Photos from the flood of 2008 hang in the Pentacrest during a community celebration June 15. Three major arts buildings are opening this year after the original facilities were destroyed by the flood.

Congratulations to our Big Ten West Division Champion Iowa Hawkeyes, coached by Kirk Ferentz! Dance Marathon Raises the Bar Again

On Saturday, Feb. 8, Dance Marathon 20 announced that it broke all previous UI records by raising $1,801,032.20 to benefit youth cancer patients and their families. During the 24-hour BIG EVENT, participants raised money by dancing in the IMU to celebrate youth cancer survivors and remember the children who have passed away throughout the year.
