Hawks Have Heart: Denver Volunteer Event and Social

Join your fellow University of Iowa alumni and friends for the June 26 Hawks Have Heart volunteer event, where you will help paint a house for a local homeowner in need. The UI Alumni Association is partnering with Brother’s Redevelopment, a Denver-based nonprofit organization that provides housing and other related services for local low-income, elderly, and disabled residents.

We’re proud to bring Hawkeye volunteers together for this opportunity to contribute to your community and assist someone in need. If you are busy during the day, we'd still like to see you at our social at Wynkoop Brewery following the day of painting.

Saturday, June 26, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Brother's Redevelopment will assign our Denver work location. We will e-mail participants on June 22 with the address and directions to our work site.

Can’t volunteer during the day? You are more than welcome to attend the social to meet area Hawkeyes. The cost is $10 (UIAA member) or $15 (UIAA non-member).
