The alternative energy definition has history as far back as replacing wood with coal. The 1970’s propelled the development of alternative energy to what it is recognized as now.

Clean-tech is the new age replacement of the term alternative energy but alternative energy can be defined as the search for energy improvements in a humane way.

Alternative Energy Types

This idea of alternative energy makes available a variety of examples and types. The well known solar panels are soon to be replaced by an alternative energy solar power generator.

Waves are a new source of alternative energy already being used to generate clean energy. Air has been harnessed in new ways as well. There is an opposition to alternative energy which has continuously destroyed the environment.

Older energy generating sources are clearly not the same as alternative energy types. This refers to nearly any energy source that requires the burning of gas, oil, or coal. The byproducts are killing the planet and the sources are completely non-renewable.

The future will bring a new alternative energy definition. Alternative energy examples range from new genetically engineered bacteria to nuclear fusion powered submarines.  Here’s a short list of types:

The current state of alternative energy needs more attention from everyone. The best alternative energy is to conserve energy whenever possible. The governments of the world will need to unite over the energy crisis before any other major global issue.

Tell local officials how to feel and vote only for those willing to save the planet, not the oil companies.
